Rendezvous Paris by The Silver Lining

Chart: This Silver Lining chart is printed in six sections over five Letter/A4 pages. The pages have no overlap rows. It is a monochrome chart so there is only one symbol, but the chart is printed large and easy to see. There are excellent instructions for one-over-one and backstitching.

Stitches: Pattern uses whole Cross Stitch and backstitch.  This design can be stitched one-over-one or two-over-two.

Materials: Anchor stranded cotton. Stitched on Crossed Wing Collection 28ct “Starry Night” linen.

Designer’s Notes: A silhouette in Paris.

Why I was attracted to this design: I love the monochrome on fancy background look. I’m not actually that enamoured of the cupids and the Eiffel Tower, but I love concept and I adore the fabric.

So why haven’t I stitched it?  I finally bought the fabric for this chart last year as I entered my stitching slump.  But I haven’t bought the five skeins of Anchor floss yet.

Where can you buy it? This design is still in print and can be easily ordered by your LNS or ONS of choice. Or you can buy direct from The Silver Lining. You should pay around $US8.00.

Discussion questions: Do you like monochrome designs or do you find them a slow form of torture driving you to suicide?
